I am sure that everyone that looks at my blog thought that I fell of the face of the planet since it has been FOREVER since I posted anything. The whole reason I what to keep this blog was so that I could keep up with everything that goes on in our busy life so I don't forget a thing and I have not posted a single thing since my brothers wedding.....yikes! With that said I have a lot of making up to do so get ready! :) Thought I would start off by sharing a picture of my sweet babies!!

Some Where Over The Rainbow
**I started writing this last week but I'm just not getting around to finishing it.... :)
We had such a busy weekend because my brother got married (pictures to come) Saturday Nov 5th so Sunday we took it easy. The Wizard of Oz was playing all weekend which was my Mom's all time favorite movie and with Thursday being 9 years since she passed away and Chad getting married I didn't think I could handle watching it until Sunday night. I think with Chad's wedding I had more time to sit and think that my Mom was missing this big step in my brothers life so I had a pretty hard time with it. I know with my own wedding I was so busy getting stuff together and ready for the big day I didn't have time really to stop and think about how much my Mom was missing out on. I know that she was there with us and was able to watch him get married. The Wizard of Oz is on TV every now and again but my whole family couldn't believe that it was on the the weekend that Chad was getting married, it was one of the many signs that we had that she was really there with us. So Sunday I sat and watched the movie with the kids, Kendall had never seen it before so I decided to let her and Ayden stay up a little later than normal so they could watch it with me. Ayden told Kendall that The Wizard Of Oz was my Mom's favorite movie and she thought that was so neat. She would lay her little head on my shoulder and say "This your Mommy's favorite movie", I love that my kids are learning things about my Mom because she was so special to me. I know as life goes on I will be able to tell them other stories about my Mom but when anyone in my family thinks about The Wizard Of Oz the first thing we think about is my Mom.
Chad and I danced to Some Where Over the Rainbow at his reception because he thought it would be a great way to remember my Mom and it really was. I of coarse started crying as soon as he said it was time for us to dance and I don't think there were many dry eyes at the end of the dance but I am so glad we danced to that song. It was a GREAT way to remember her, Chad and I were very lucky to have her as our Mom.

Boo In The Zoo
For the past 7 years we have gone to Boo In The Zoo and we have such a great time! I love getting to see the kids trick or treat around the zoo and we get to spend time with great friends. This year Kendall was a pumpkin (with a tutu she will not let you leave that part out) and Ayden was a boxer.
Ayden.....he is ready to fight!
My sweet little pumpkin
We have gone to Boo in the Zoo the past 3 years with Kate, Jason, and Bella. We always try and get a picture of the 3 of the together, they are getting so big!
Makayla as a belly dancer
Bella as a fairy

My family with the Nicely's...this was Lucas' first Halloween and first Boo in the Zoo
Love this picture of her, she looks so big though
Isn't he scary?!?! He wouldn't hardly let me take a normal picture of him...:)
Sweet Baby Lucas

This is the only character that Kendall would get close to. She was a little freaked out by them all.

Pumpkin Patch
A couple of weekends ago we went to Guthries Pumpkin Patch in Riceville TN. It was the perfect day to go pick pumpkins and spend time with my sweet babies. I had never been to a pumpkin patch so I just thought it was the neatest thing....it's the little things that make me smile. :)

We got to ride on a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch which the kids loved!
We had such a fun time and we left with several pumpkins! We will be back next year for sure!!!
